Navajo Indian Diamond Crochet Pattern

 Make Custom Size Pillow covers and More

Notes:

Yarn: acrylic weight 4
colors in order of pattern:
chain dark red

3 rows of dark red

1 row of bright red
3 rows of light gray
1 row of black
3 rows of raspberry
1 row of bright white
3 rows of beige or off white
1 row of brown

If you are doing a full size blanket and pillow cover you will probably need about 20 skeins.
3 dark red, 3 light gray, 3 raspberry, 3 beige, 2 bright red, 2 black, 2 bright white and 2 brown

Hook I used is size I 5.50 mm

sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
blp=back loop only
flp=front loop only
st=stitch
ch=chain
sl st=slip stitch
( )=Repeat what is in parentheses

 Do not turn work, cut off at end leaving a 3" tail for fringe.
All single crochets are made in back loops of sitches.
 All double crochet are made in front loop of sitch in second row from top.

You can make any size you like with this formula: 2 ch needed at beginning 3 ch + 1ch for knot at end, ch in multiples of 20 in middle.

Slip knot leaving a long tail at the begining is for fringe knot. Ch1 at end is for knot. Do not work in these knots.

Cast on using single crochet stitch. Please watch video tutorial to learn how to do this.

Using Dark red yarn
