blp=back loop only
flp=front loop only
st=stitch
ch=chain
sl st=slip stitch

Hook I used is size I 5.50 mm

Notes: 
Do not turn work, cut off at end leaving a 3" tail for fringe.

All single crochets are made in back loops of sitches.

All double crochet are made in front loop of sitch in second row from top.

You can make any size you like with this formula: 2 ch needed at beginning 3 ch + 1ch for knot at end, ch in multiples of 20 in middle.

Slip knot at the begining is for fringe knot. Ch1 at end is for knot. Do not work in these knots.

Cast on using single crochet stitch. Please watch video tutorial to learn how to do this.

 Ch 146 for a throw about 60" long.
Ch 186 for a twin about 90" long.                         Ch 246 for a full/queen size blanket or afghanabout 94" long.                                           Ch 286 for King size blanket or afghan about 110" long.

Row 1: skip first chain, cast on with sc in second chain,  1sc in each chain except last chain,  ch1 cut yarn leaving a long tail for fringe or tassels.

Row 2: Cast on with sc in blp of first sc st, 1 sc blp in each st except for ch 1. Ch 1 cut yarn leaving a long tail.

Row 3: cast on with sc blp, 1sc blp in next  st, 1dc flp of second row from top,  ( 1sc blp in next 19 st, 1dc flp of second row from top.) Repeat until end of row. Leave last 2 st 1sc blp, Ch1 cut yarn  leaving 3" tail.

Row 4: cast on with 1sc blp, 1sc blp in next 2 st, 1dc flp of second row from top,  (1sc blp in next 17 st, 1dc flp of second row from top, 1sc blp in next st, 1dc flp of second row from top) repeat until end of row. Leaving last 3 st 1sc. Ch1 cut yarn leaving 3" tail.

Row 5:  Cast on with sc blp, 1sc blp in next 3 st, 1dc flp of second row, (1sc blp in next 15 st, 1dc flp of second row from top, 1sc blp in next 3 st, 1dc flp of second row from top) repeat until end of row Leaving last 4 st 1sc blp. Ch1 cut yarn leaving 3" tail.

Row 6: cast on with sc blp,  1sc blp in next 4 st, 1dc flp of second row from top,  (1sc blp in next 13 st, 1dc flp, 1sc blp in next 5 st, 1dc flp, ) repeat until end of row Leaving last 5 st 1sc blp. Ch1 cut yarn leaving 3" tail.

Row 7:  cast on with sc blp,  1sc blp in next 5 st, 1dc flp of second row from top,  (1sc blp in next 11 st, 1dc flp, 1sc blp in next 7 st, 1dc flp, ) repeat until end of row Leaving last 6 st 1sc blp. Ch1 cut yarn leaving 3" tail.

Row 8:  cast on with sc blp,  1sc blp in next 6 st, 1dc flp of second row from top,  (1sc blp in next 9 st, 1dc flp, 1sc blp in next 9 st, 1dc flp, ) repeat until end of row Leaving last 7 st 1sc blp. Ch1 cut yarn leaving 3" tail.

Row 9:  cast on with sc blp,  1sc blp in next 7 st, 1dc flp of second row from top,  (1sc blp in next 7 st, 1dc flp, 1sc blp in next 11 st, 1dc flp, ) repeat until end of row Leaving last 8 st 1sc blp. Ch1 cut yarn leaving 3" tail.

Row 10: cast on with sc blp,  1sc blp in next 8 st, 1dc flp of second row from top,  (1sc blp in next 5 st, 1dc flp, 1sc blp in next 13 st, 1dc flp, ) repeat until end of row Leaving last 9 st 1sc blp. Ch1 cut yarn leaving 3" tail.

Row 11:  cast on with sc blp,  1sc blp in next 9 st, 1dc flp of second row from top,  (1sc blp in next 3 st, 1dc flp, 1sc blp in next 15 st, 1dc flp, ) repeat until end of row Leaving last 10 st 1sc blp. Ch1 cut yarn leaving 3" tail.

Row 12:  cast on with sc blp,  1sc blp in next 10 st, 1dc flp of second row from top,  (1sc blp in next st, 1dc flp, 1sc blp in next 17 st, 1dc flp, ) repeat until end of row Leaving last 11 st 1sc blp. Ch1 cut yarn leaving 3" tail.

Row 13: cast on with sc blp, 
1 sc blp in next 10 st, (1dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next st, 1 dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 17 st) repeat until end of row leaving last 11 st 1 sc blp. Ch 1 cut yarn leaving a 3" tail.

Row 14: cast on with sc blp, 
1 sc blp in next 9 st, (1dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 3 st, 1 dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 15 st) repeat until end of row leaving last 10 st 1 sc blp. Ch 1 cut yarn leaving a 3" tail.

Row 15:  cast on with sc blp, 
1 sc blp in next 8 st, (1dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 5 st, 1 dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 13 st) repeat until end of row leaving last 9 st 1 sc blp. Ch 1 cut yarn leaving a 3" tail.

Row 16: cast on with sc blp, 
1 sc blp in next 7 st, (1dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 7 st, 1 dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 11 st) repeat until end of row leaving last 8 st 1 sc blp. Ch 1 cut yarn leaving a 3" tail.

Row 17: cast on with sc blp, 
1 sc blp in next 6 st, (1dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 9 st, 1 dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 9 st) repeat until end of row leaving last 7 st 1 sc blp. Ch 1 cut yarn leaving a 3" tail.

Row 18: cast on with sc blp, 
1 sc blp in next 5 st, (1dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 11 st, 1 dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 7 st) repeat until end of row leaving last 6 st 1 sc blp. Ch 1 cut yarn leaving a 3" tail.

Row 19: cast on with sc blp, 
1 sc blp in next 4 st, (1dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 13 st, 1 dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 5 st) repeat until end of row leaving last 5 st 1 sc blp. Ch 1 cut yarn leaving a 3" tail.

Row 20:  cast on with sc blp, 
1 sc blp in next 3 st, (1dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 15 st, 1 dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 3 st) repeat until end of row leaving last 4 st 1 sc blp. Ch 1 cut yarn leaving a 3" tail.

Row 21: cast on with sc blp, 
1 sc blp in next 2 st, (1dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 17 st, 1 dc flp in second row from top, 1 sc blp in next 1 st) repeat until end of row leaving last 3 st 1 sc blp. Ch 1 cut yarn leaving a 3" tail.

Row 22: go back to row 4 in written pattern start from there and repeat all rows after row 4. Adjust color of yarn accordingly. Keep repeating pattern until finished.
